She stressed the importance of starting a business with the fundamentals in E-Hub's Stepping Up to New Opportunities series. Stacey worked with the SBDC as well for financial counseling leading to successfully obtaining financing through the Advance microloan program..
Nell's Wigs & Boutique in Allouez, owned by Stacey Nellen-Kolze, appeared on the front cover of Women's and Nature Pathways Magazine. In addition, Nell's has added more services and products including wig lines, a mastectomy boutique, massage therapy and salon services.
Diane Gustin, owner of Heart @ Work in Suamico had a resolution to to begin a business with a mission of employing people with special needs. She graduated from the Stepping Up to New Opportunities series and took advantage of several peer-to-peer E-Hub mentors and the Advance Incubator Kitchen. Along with her son, Drew, their passion and main focus is on gluten-free popcorn.
Brian Madl, owner of Apine Images in Crandon is being recognized for his vinyl graphics business on a national basis. He appears weekly on an outdoor sportsmen's TV show.
Michelle Madl, Rhinelander, launched an entrepreneur series at Nicolet College. Mark Burwell kicked off the program as keynote speaker and had a book signing as well.
True Leaf Organics, owned by Kate and Shawn Hau, located in New Franken has launched their microgreens business. It is a local & sustainable purveyor of bright, nourshing, first-class microgreens and specialty grown goodness! The business was featured by WFRV's Erin Davisson and in the Green Bay Press Gazette.
